HISTORY OF PRO-AM BEACH SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP


2004:
July: First ideas of a beach soccer tournament for kids & adults in the Western United States initiated.

Aug.: Company created & full plans for first tournament implemented.

2005:
- May 7-8: 1st Annual U.S. Sand Soccer Championships: First EVER beach soccer tournament for kids and adults in the Western United States in Santa Cruz, CA

- Nov. 19: First Annual Stinson Beach Classic, CA.

2006:
- June 24-25: 2nd Annual U.S. Sand Soccer Championships in Santa Cruz, CA.

- July 1: Became the largest Beach Soccer organization in the Western United States.

- Oct.: Coach Roberto 'Beto' Ceciliano & the U.S. Soccer Federation signed Pro-Am Beach Soccer Partner Tighe O'Sullivan as the U.S. Beach Soccer National Team Assistant Coach for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Brazil in November of 2006.

- Nov.: Pro-Am Beach Soccer Championships received exclusive rights to host try-outs for the U.S. Beach Soccer National Team on the West Coast.

2007:
Jan.: Secured TV media contract with Setanta Sports channel worth nearly $1million in advertising making it the first of its kind in the country.
